Commercial Property Sales

Underwoods have recently completed several commercial property sales in Northampton town centre that provide further evidence as to the strength of the local market. These include:-

 

13-17 Bridge Street a part Grade II listed retail premises formerly occupied by White and Bishop Ltd for over 80 years has been sold to a local developer who has plans to redevelop the site.

 

Elsewhere, St Giles Street Clinic a property providing accommodation of 2,989 sq ft together with on-site parking has been sold to an established property company based in Northampton who will shortly reveal their plans for the site.

 

Finally, 219 – 225 Wellingborough Road a development site of 0.165 acres with wide frontage to this popular retail street has been sold and will shortly be redeveloped to offer retail and residential units.

 

These sales highlight the strong demand from developers and investors for land and buildings located in the town centre. This was reflected in the sales prices achieved.
